Andrew first started showing interest in me right around our high school Homecoming. I will have to admit I never really showed much interest in him because I always thought he wouldn't be interested since he was "older." Of course, in high school you don't go directly up to the person that you like and tell them...what do you do??? You get your friends to do it...haha! I remember his friend coming up to me and telling me that Andrew kinda liked me. So, of course, after that we chatted in the halls, went to a couple of things together, and walked each other to our designated classes (big deal back then).
Then, one night after a basketball game at our high school Andrew asked me to be his girlfriend. My response, "Ummmm....I don't know. Let me think about it." WHAT!?!? Here is this sweet, adorable, and loving guy putting his feelings out there and I give him that response. Oh goodness!! Needless to say, I came to my senses about 5 minutes later and called him and told him that of course I would be his girlfriend! The rest is pretty much history.
I can honestly say that he is my best friend and I am so incredibly happy to finally be married to him! Andrew and I are starting a whole different chapter in our life right now. He is starting a new job as a draftsman at Red Bud Industries, I am going to be an insurance agent with Thrivent Financial, we just bought a house, and we are moving home. We couldn't be happier! Love him so much.
